Summer '14 Challenge
Alright, with the semester basically coming to a close and the entire summer ahead of me with nothing to do but personal projects, I feel like a little motivation will help me (and maybe some others) get back into the game.
So what is the summer '14 challenge you may ask? Keep on reading!
Premise: Have you ever wanted to try something new, but never got around to working on it? Such as sculpting, custom textures, or maybe working on the low poly end of the spectrum? Well here's your chance to give it a shot. Pick something you want to learn or maybe just improve on, whether it be 3D, 2D, or even physical art such as pottery. And just do it! Just be sure to post your progress on the forums.
Deadline: When do we ever have deadlines on these things? Come to think of it, when was our last challenge?
Prize: Everyone wins through knowledge and self improvement!

So to sum this up: "Post more work in the WIP and Completed sections!"
Though I have been doing 2D work, I thought maybe to try some new 2D styles in the near future.

Count me out of this one. I'm working on a different kind of a challenge. And that is to improve my consistency - I'm not starting a new project (unless I really MUST) until I finish the old one. And that is my '69 Camaro project. I'm either quitting Blender or finishing the Camaro... and quitting Blender is not an option.

No... haha. Alright so it's half and half. I've noticed a decline of WIPs lately so I figured a long term challenge would be nice. And not wanting to restrict people I tried to keep it open to any sort of project. (This summer I plan to dive a bit more into 2d)Radialronnie wrote:So to sum this up: "Post more work in the WIP and Completed sections!"

@Dobi: That's understandable.

I'm in the same boat there Dobi. But, that being said, I'm always wanting to dabble in something new! I'll be giving it a shot as soon as I can. Now let's see....
