Good morning,
I cant see the light clipping sphere when I have "sphere" checked on a lamp.  I have never used this setting before, so I do not know if it ever worked, but I do see it in the Blender manual page for Light Attenuation.
I am working in version 2.58 and wonder if anyone knows if it was used on that version?
Please let me know.

I am not seeing it for the spot lamp, but I am for the point lamp.
