RIP BlenderUnderground

In the beginning, there was BlenderArtists, BlenderNewbies, BlenderUnderground, and Nystic. Then, one by one they fell into digital oblivion.
It seems that BlenderUnderground's website finally went dark after months of inactivity. Nystic closed a while ago, and we all know about BlenderNewbies, unfortunately.
If I asked my wife to make a "thinking of you" card for Kernon, would anybody be interested in signing it? I'll drop a few dollars into the envelope to help others pay for shipping (especially international).

Sure enough! Last I heard, it sounded like he was thinking of or trying to slowly revive the site. Any news there?

Somebody on BA got ahold of him several months back, and while he's doing better, I don't think we'll ever see BlenderNewbies again. I seriously considered buying the domain, but I just didn't think (or still think) that I would have the time needed to run the site.
