characters hair using (wave) changes when rotated. Empty characters hair using (wave) changes when rotated.

Good evening,
I have a couple of characters that have hair styles using (wave) for children and when I rotate the character, the hair changes as if it is influenced by the origin. It does not happen when I just use no (kink) options.
Any ideas? I have changed alot of settings and there are no physices modifiers, effectors or force fields. I have done quite abit of searching and found nothing.
Version 2.58.
