Can't see my objects.
Having a problem. I'm sure its an easy fix but I R noob. I have an object that is pretty much done. However, I am trying to add another object to it and join it. Problem is the new item im trying to add becomes transparent when I get a front ortho view. Any ideas what I need to fix this? All help is appreciated. Thanks

Re: Can't see my objects.
Good morning,
perhaps your object is outside the view clipping planes. In object mode with curser in the view, press N to bring up the tool bar. Scroll down to "view" and change "clip start" to a smaller number if needed (rarely the case) or change "clip end" to a larger number.
Let us know if that fixed it.
Good luck.

Re: Can't see my objects.
If what Scooter said doesn't work, I'm wondering if you are meaning that you cannot see both objects editable parts, ie. vertex, edge, or faces. If you have one that you can see those things and one that is of another color, then you need to "join" them. Select one and then press the shift key and select the other, or however you want to select them both. Once they are then hold down the Ctrl button and press "J". Now they are one object and can be edited together.

Re: Can't see my objects.
Sorry it took so long to reply but no luck so far. I have a human mesh that is finished except for details. I am adding in the eyes now. In front view the eye is behind the human. In side view it a good ways in front of him. Its like I set something by mistake on the human to take priority in front view. I can pretty much get the eye there in top view but the lining it up precisely is hard when it appears behind in front view.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Perhaps you have xray mode on. If you select the object that's getting in the way and go to the object tab. In the display panel there should be a checkbox that says xray. If that's checked, turn it off.

I love you Billy! That was the problem... Guess I clicked x ray on mesh instead of rig.
Thanks all!

Thanks for helping us out Billy, I have never heard of X-ray mode. Learned something I should have been using.
