entire 10,000 frame key row shifted unintentional.

Post  Scooter2 on Wed Oct 22, 2014 11:37 pm

Good evening,
I had a problem with a file where the keyed actions got out of time and I found I had two entire 10,000 frame key rows shifted 20 frames. The were not adjacent to each other either. I did not know I could select rows with a short cut (hot key), only columns. Is that possible? I certainly did not knowingly select a 10,000 frame row and shift it.
Got any ideas?
Before you ask, the file is 10,000 frames but it is multiple scenes where I keep saving it as a new file name for the next scene and building on it. I do maintain each original scene file. It is kind of an second form of backup without all my eggs in one basket.
Thanks,
Scooter

it seems u have just dragged a huge set of keyframes 20 frames into some direction via the dope sheet or the action editor..could that be the case..if it was the dope sheet u should be able to select that row again and drag em back into place

i could also imagine that u might have accidently added some offset value somewhere...

unfortunately i'm not much of an expert when it comes to keyframing outside of your average value fade in fade out and the like :/

Good evening Nixon,
you are correct that a row has been offset or selected and moved. My question is how, because I do not see an option to select a row, only columns.
Thanks,
