Forest Girl
Righty-O folks, rather happy with this one. Time cost ~2.5 hours. Couldn't sleep at 1AM: painted this for an hour or so, and continued this afternoon.
"What if memories were digital? What would it look like as the memory faded?"

And without the glitch effect:

[edit] ugh, ghosting layer from the glitch is still visible.

This time around I went full layer happy. It is still a simple scene so total layers is about 30-35. Having isolated everything though, I ended up painting a scene that could well have been done in one or two layers.
P.S. Dilemma: Sacrifice quality for convenience/no ads? Imgur<//>MediaFire.

Re: Forest Girl
I was thinking of the inordinate amount of time I spent "finishing" a drawing. I have a friend that creates original music, and he always tells me "Projects are never finished, they're just abandoned." It's hard to fight that sometimes.

Re: Forest Girl
Great image, the glitch idea was pretty neat in translating the topic into the visuals! Nice use of warm tones throughout, too.
