[Summer '12 challenge] Asian Courtyard
Began a very rough blockout of the scene that I chose;

Yes, I have been working on it.
I was initially worried about the tiling of the cobbles, but I think with the dirt, and the puddles that I'll add later, it should be fine.

Looking good already.
Usually I abandon good projects around the same stage of completion that you're curently on. You know, the stage where everything is starting to get a little bit of shape and feeling to it and where the tough part of the project is starting to emerge. So yeah, hope you get it done...

Hang on I'll just pick my jaw up off the floor
Excellent stuff. Are you going to make the textures look real world or make it look like a painting? It'll be fascinating to follow either way. Keep up the good work!

Well the original plan was to create this as a realistic scene, but I realized that I wouldn't be able to finish it with a respectable quality in the remaining time. So now I'm taking my own merry time making this, and who knows if I'll ever finish it since it's lost its charm for me to be honest.
We'll see.
We'll see.
