I can't find the original, but this was a stand-in for timing and what not.

I'll post the link since it's better to view on YouTube directly with full sound and HD:

I miss a lot of these guys... I wonder what they are up to nowadays.

Round and round we go... now I'm so dizzy.

Wow, each time I watch this... Chills, like someone said the first time you shared this, "it's like we all died are being honored for something great."
There are a few names there towards the end that had sort of slipped out of my conscious. It's good to remember them again.

Over three years later and it still puts a smile on my face. Oh how the times have changed.

Two Steps From Hell music. Love their stuff and plan to animate to it myself someday soon.

Excellent video mate. Before my time on Blender Newbies but I guess that means I survived where the rest perished Smile

Deviating from topic a bit, but in response to Bloke, I wanted to share this song. This is something I'd like to animate to one day. I have scenes of it in my head, but I lack the skills, and confidence to pull it off.

p.s. I feel a bit awkward referring to you as "bloke." It sounds rude in my mind.

That's a good song there, RR. One thing I tell my Airmen when we set goals that appear unattainable at the time is "as long as you honestly and consciously work toward the goal a little bit at a time, the skill needed to reach that goal will follow."

Couldn't agree more. I'm at the same stage as you Ronnie. Got this huge grandiose idea but no talent or knowledge for how to achieve it. That's why I started the modelling for animation thread in the works in progress. I'm going to attempt to create what I've imagined by breaking it down step by step and learning what I need to achieve each bit.

So modelling seemed a good start. Although I admit I've made no progress for months now, I will be back on this and regularly posting. Why don't you start a thread in there too and make a start and we'll encourage each other as we go?

That's a nice piece you've picked, long though. You'll need a lot of scenes to fill that. The piece I've picked is this

First heard it while I was reading First Light by Geoffrey Wellum. The youngest man to fight in the Battle of Britain. And all these images appeared in my mind. Hopefully one day I'll produce something that does him justice.

By the way if you don't like Bloke you can call me Strange Smile No? How about SB... hmm no that could be misinterpreted as SoB Smile
Seriously as someone who uses the name Strangebloke I'm not going to be offended by whatever you refer to me as. But if it makes you uncomfortable just call me Martin.

Aha! I got you to share your name. Allow me to say it's a pleasure. Smile Call me Daniel.

Yeah you did, sneaky Smile

I usually like hiding behind Strangebloke but I don't mind people here knowing a little more. Honoured to meet you too Daniel Smile

I thought about introducing everyone by name but decided I probably should let everyone do that for themselves.
