Dart action
Yay, a new completed work! I wanted to finally finish something, so I decided to do something simple which ended up taking only an evening.

Suggestions and critique from you intelligent people is most welcome.
If anyone wants screenshots/blends, I'd be most happy to oblige.

Re: Dart action
Well I guess that rules me out.Suggestions and critique from you intelligent people is most welcome.
It's really good for a longer-duration project, let alone a one night project. I'm interested to know if you did the logo on the fins as well?
Re: Dart action
Thanks Mike! Haven't heard from you in a bit! :/
The logo on the flight is just something I found via google images. It's similar to the ones I use when shoot darts in real life.

Re: Dart action
Wow! Congratulations on the lighting and mood/atmosphere!
The only thing I can suggest to make it look even more real would be adding a decal (or adjusting the model) so that it suggests the ripping of the dart target (?) on the place where the dart hit.
Also I'm pretty sure by looking at your photographs that you can take an awesome, moody picture to replace the current pixelated background (:

Thanks Gabriel!
You are probably right. The image is actually part of a full-sphere HDR image which I used for IBL but I could have composited a different background in I guess.
