Other apps

I'm not sure if anyone here would like to try (ever) or have a use for some stuff from Adobe, but there is a bit of a loophole going on. They've released the CS2 authentication servers and have instead put up a CS2 download and code page. If you haven't tried their stuff before and have always wanted to get your feet wet with some of those apps, this would be a good time to try it. I was told about that last week. It isn't quite legal it's meant for users who have old versions that may need to re-install as they are shutting down the registration servers for that version.

I definitely have not downloaded Premier Pro 2 to play with as I haven't got any decent video editing software

I think they might be leaving this up in the hope that peole will try it and be more likely to buy newer versions later.

You are correct. That was the official statement, but I like you and many others are sort of reading between the lines. It would actually make good business sense to do that if you can keep from ticking the folks off that bought CS2 and aren't planning on moving on to other purchases in the near future.

Well I know that site was ramemd when I definitely didn't download anything from it.

I think there are more than one or two copies floating about by now
