LuxRender1.2 RC

Ok, so I'm trying Lux out again and I'm wondering if I'm missing something. I downloaded the 1.2 RC to give the open CL a whirl. I've been able to get all my paths correct so that Blender shoots it to Lux to begin rendering. Problem is (seems to be) that I don't think that I'm using my GPU's. It sets the default threads to 8 which tells me that is my CPU (2 threads per core). Any thoughts on this? I manually set the threads up and it doesn't seem to do anything. Am I overthinking this, or just not getting it?

Ok, playing around a bit more I figured out that I needed to change my rendering setting from Bidirectional to HybridBidirectional or even HybridPath. Anyway, it seems to be engaging the GPU's, but I can't tell that it's really doing much... I'll keep playing!
