animate renderability of particles
Good evening,
does anyone know how to animate the renderability of hair particles (hide/show)? When I try to insert a keyframe for restrict renderability (hide/show) on particles like I do objects in the outliner, I am not able to. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Scooter

I'm not sure on the specifics of that, but would it be easier to render two passes, one with hair and one without? Then put them together post process.

Re: animate renderability of particles
Good afternoon,
I actually am after the ablility to hide grass particles when they are not in view of the camara. I have a scene that has grass in a yard and on hills, but is not worth splitting up the shots for.
Thanks,
Scooter
